1. Service Overview

DocendoCards offers both free and paid subscription models. The free version provides limited features, while paid subscriptions—Pro and Ultimate—offer expanded features and higher usage limits. Our Service allows users to create flashcards from their own content and from AI-generated content to enhance their learning experience.

2. Subscription Plans and Fees

DocendoCards offers the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Offers basic functionality for trying out AI-powered flashcard generation with limited features.
• Pro Plan: Designed for regular users, offering advanced features and higher limits.
• Ultimate Plan: Tailored for power users who need maximum features and expanded limits.

All payments are non-refundable and processed via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Users will retain access to their accounts and services until the billing cycle ends, and they can reactivate their subscription until that time.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you are required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You are liable for all activity conducted through your account.

4. User Conduct

By using DocendoCards, you agree to:

• Only upload content that you have the legal right to use.
• Not use the platform for any unlawful, unethical, or harmful activities, including academic dishonesty or sharing of proprietary content.
• Not upload any material that is violent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Content Ownership

Uploaded Content: DocendoCards does not claim ownership of any files, documents, or content you upload to the platform. You retain all rights to your own content. If you delete your account, all associated data will be removed from DocendoCards. Users may request account deletion by contacting hello@docendocards.com.

AI-Generated Content: Any content generated using our AI is owned by DocendoCards. By using our Service, you grant DocendoCards the rights to use, modify, distribute, and display AI-generated content for operational purposes. User data is not used to improve the AI model.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

DocendoCards uses generative AI to help create flashcards. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of AI-generated content, and we recommend users review generated content before relying on it for academic or professional purposes.

7. Termination and Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. In cases of termination due to a breach, you will lose access to the Service and all associated data.

8. Payment and Billing

All payments are processed through Stripe, our authorized payment provider. By subscribing to DocendoCards, you agree to the terms set by Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable, and all charges are final once processed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocendoCards is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. This limitation applies to any claims, whether based on warranty, contract, or tort.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous access to the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. DocendoCards reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss caused by outages or downtimes.

11. Changes to the Terms

DocendoCards reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the updated Terms.
